Marcs Updater
There have been some reports about issues with the Updater not updating anymore. Please try the latest beta version and switch to another IP Check provider instead of the previous default dnsomatic.com. For some reason they are rate-limiting the number of requests to their service. The new IP Check provider selection allows you to choose another provider in such cases. You can test the functionality with the new "Test" panel.
If you want to add a custom provider to the unstable testing version, store a JSON file like the following under %PROGRAMDATA%\Marcs Updater\ServiceProviders\dyndns.json:

Der Dienst "Marcs Updater" läuft bei mir zwar scheinbar, allerdings führt der Updater keine Updates durch. Unter "letzte Aktualisierung" steht seit Tagen "nie" und unter "letztes Ergebnis" steht "keines", obwohl ein Überprüfungsintervall von 5 min eingestellt ist. Woran könnte das liegen?

We have a failover in place on our router and recently we've been having issues with marcs updater constantly changing the IP back and forth between our primary IP and our secondary failover IP. We use marcs updater because we have a ton of problems with sonicwall's DDNS updater and I'm hoping this doesn't mean we will need to switch back. Any ideas? I was in our server earlier and Marcs Updater changed the IP about 5 times in the course of a minute.

If I fill in the host field in your updater, it updates that one host. But "all.dnsomatic.com" is not working; no updates are made even though they say it should.

Unter "Local Network" sollte die Eingabe der IP-Adresse des Routers doch genügen, oder ist noch etwas anderes zu beachten? Bei der Installation des Updaters ist die IP zunächst korrekt, wird aber leider bei Änderung der IP nicht upgedadet. Die Eingabe unter Local Network verhält sich auch merkwürdig, da die Eintragung ganz unten im Fenster positioniert wird (darüber sind dann Leerzeilen)!?
Betriebssystem ist jeweils Win7 64bit.
Wäre schön, wenn Du einen Lösungsvorschlag bzw. Hinweis für mich hättest.

After restarting WiFi, the updater performs the initial update ok, but it does not perform any additional updates even though I have the updates set for one every 5 minutes. Can you tell me why updating stops after the successful initial update?
